Contemplating Destiny I thought I knew what destiny was. After all, by the age of seven, I could recite the fifty-page law of “Never Changing, Constantly Developing Destiny” completely from memory. By the time I was nine I knew exactly what I was destined to do. As tradition dictated, on my tenth birthday I walked into the placement office and within five minutes I was placed into training for protection, it all went according to the plan of what I was sure my path was.
